Practice Location: High School Wrestling Room (use south door of gym, room is upstairs)

Leave bags, shoes, coats in the hallway and not in the room

Unless parents are helping show moves we will need your help on limiting the number of parents in the room due to limited practice space.

Attire: Shorts, t-shirt, socks, water bottle, wrestling shoes are encouraged (no running shoes)

Please keep all bags, shoes and coats in the hallway, no shoes in the stairwell.  Please respect the coaches and absolutely no talking between parents when the coaches are demonstrating moves.  If you want to have a conversation with other parents please do so downstairs in the hallway. We will make announcements at the end of each practice to parents.

Practice Structure

Practices begin in November 4th for grades 3rd-6th.  Grades Pre-K-2nd will start practice on December 3rd. The wrestling club has hired Augustana All-American wrestler Mike Long and Jon Rand as our coaches to facilitate each of the scheduled practice along with multiple volunteer parent coaches. The parents are strongly encouraged to assist with certain drills to ensure that all members receive the individual attention that is needed.  We have some families with multiple wrestlers and it may make sense depending on the age and skill level where they may both be able to attend the same practice.  Our numbers are divided very evenly this year between the two groups and all practice groups will include wrestlers with no experience to multiple years experience.  If you have any issues with the practice group that your wrestler is in please see Jeramie Eimers.
