NCAA sign up to walk out College Wrestlers at Division II Championships in Sioux Falls. We need 60 to sign up.
The NCAA leadership requests 60+ youth wrestlers to participate in their Parade of Athletes at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center on the afternoon/evening of Friday, March 13, 2020. Because of the success of our program, Tea Youth Wrestling is the only youth club invited to lead these talented athletes! If you sign up wrestler up to participate, the wrestler receives free entry to the session, as well as two free adult passes.
On the afternoon of the tournament, your wrestler will arrive with you and then be supervised by members of the Tea Youth Wrestling Board and coaches as they are matched with college wrestlers. When that wrestler is introduced, your wrestler will lead the college wrestler onto the mat and stand with them until all introductions are complete. At the completion of introductions, they will be escorted back to the meeting area in the hallway where the adult/parent with them resumes supervision of the wrestler.
This is a great opportunity to show your young wrestler what hard work and determination on the mat looks like at the college level! We hope to have a great showing of Tea Youth wrestlers and parents for this night! P.S. The NCAA really LOVES when the little tots show up as it is a pretty neat thing to realize that these well-conditioned and muscular athletes were once “little guys,” too!
Wrestlers must attend a Tea school or live in the Tea school district if you are registering for the first time with Tea Youth Wrestling. If you have questions regarding this please contact Jeramie Eimers at 605-360-4856.
Registration: Wrestlers registrations are accepted anytime before or during the wrestling season.
AAU Cards: (Cards are required for Districts, Region, State & National Tournaments)
We highly recommend that you purchase your AAU card at the beginning of the season. This provides additional insurance coverage (after your primary insurance) in the event an injury would occur in practice or tournament. The cost is only $14 and you will need it for Districts at the end of the season. PURCHASE NOW - DO NOT WAIT!
